The place is good, but there is an arrogant waitress called Angelique Krebs who doesn't pay any attention, slams the plates and, after receiving a 10% tip from my girlfriend, doesn't even say the word "thank you". Everyone has a bad day, but as service staff you should work professionally. The rest was very good, so the quality of coffee and cake. There was also a friendly waitress, whose name I unfortunately do not know. In the meantime, the boss spoke to me personally over the phone. She takes care of the matter. It could not be clarified with certainty whether it is actually the person mentioned by name above. I rate this approach as professional. My impression is that it was a one-time slip. In short, the shop is recommended. 🙂

Had a small but very nice anniversary celebration here. It was all to our utmost satisfaction. Next time gladly again.

The place is very nice and was completely full for a Sunday lunch. However, the staff was kind enough to let us eat at a small table next to the bar. Everyone in the restaurant tried very hard and the food was not long in spite of the full restaurant. The menu is manageable, but there is something for every taste. My pea risoto was delicious, if a little too salty for my taste.

Very comfortable and very tasty food. The map is clear, but there was something for everyone. There are always about 5 changing dishes. Service was very attentive. We sat in the front area. Here it is more like a pub. The table was a bit small for eating, I do not know if it is a bit more generous in the back area. But all in all, a real win for Battenberg. It was also well attended on Saturday night.

Delicious food. Optimal cooking point. Friendly service. Pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately the air in the room was quite warm and stuffy. Annoying flies throughout the stay. (on request of a fly swatter was unfortunately not brought ...) From time to time an ant ran up the wall. Still a good place to dine.

Again in the old Battenberg. Again the steak and the Wildburger. Both with sweet potato fries. And both were first class again. Fast and attentive service. Perfect from the reservation to the payment process.
